Tuesday 21st April

English

Choose your favourite story. If you are able to, read the story. Then, retell the story in your own words, try and include:

  • adjectives
  • adverbs (happily, slowly, gracefully)
  • conjunctions (and, but, so, because, or)
  • a description of three

Remember to use capital letters, full stops, question marks and exclamation marks. You can also add pictures to your story if you would like to.

Maths

Practise telling the time to the nearest 15 minutes on an analogue clock:

o'clock

half past

quarter to

quarter past

Telling the time can sometimes take a long time to master, so keep practising everyday and don't give up! There are some activities on the website below that may help:

Art

Design your own superhero! Draw a picture of them and label it.

What are their super powers?

What do they wear?

Where do they live?

You can then write sentences about your superhero.
