Year 2 Science Week

For Science week, Year 2 have been looking at minibeasts in our local environment. We started by reading the story called ‘Superworm’ by Julia Donaldson.

Then, we collected some worms and:

studied them carefully using magnifying glasses
learned about the main parts of a worm
we drew and labelled a worm and wrote definitions of each part of the worm
we found out lots of interesting facts about worms and created our own non-chronological reports
