Maths: I can solve two-step equations

Our theme for this week is 'Focus On Faces' and we will be completing a series of exciting activities all based on faces.  On Friday, once the week's activities have been completed. you will  be asked to select your favourite poem that you have written.  Send your favourite poem to us and we will  enter it into a competition for you.  Good luck everybody!

So today, let's being with some 'Face Fun'.  Sit opposite somebody in your household, e.g Dad or your sister, and pull different expressions at each other.  Once you have enjoyed exploring different expressions, write a poem about how it makes you feel seeing a loved one smiling at you.  Alternatively, write a poem describing your feelings when their face changes and looks happy, sad, worried, scared, thoughtful etc.

Or, you could look at this PowerPoint about different facial expressions and write a poem called 'The Many Faces of Me' or 'The Many Moods of Me'.

FRENCH

Bonjour tout le monde,

Ça va?

There are many places in the world where they speak French and today we will learn about one of them.  In this learning you will continue to find out about La Guyane and its fascinating and unique animaux.

The activity to use your language skills, is to make sentences using adjectives. You will recap adjectival agreements for masculin and feminin and make sentences about the animals you will find in La Guyane.

There is also a short film: ðŸŽ¬ Guyane les animaux.  How many of the animals in your learning can you spot?
