On behalf of all members of our school community, I would like to take this opportunity and welcome you to Parkfield Primary School.

At Parkfield Primary School we believe each child should have the right to reach their full potential in all aspects of the school curriculum and be provided with an education appropriate to the world beyond the classroom. We should be developing in children a love of learning, a pride in work well done and a desire to expand their knowledge and skills throughout life. We must help children learn to live together in a community and to become responsible, independent people, who are able to think deeply about the world around them and to respect other races, religions, ways of life and points of view. We must also develop in children a positive sense of moral responsibility, giving them the self-confidence and skills to express their opinions. This can only be achieved if, as a learning community, we work together and put the children at the heart of any decisions we make.
