General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

At Parkfield Primary School we follow strict policies and procedures to ensure we can be trusted to collect, store and use personal data fairly, safely and lawfully.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect from 25th May 2018.  It is a European Union Regulation on information privacy that governs the processing of personal data within the EU and EEA.

Data Protection Act 2018

Transform Family View, Schools, Academies and other Education Providers have a Data Sharing Agreement.  The data sharing agreement sets out the policies, procedures, roles and responsibilities of how parties will share personal data for statutory and legal purposes.  Appendix A contains a list of data transferred between education providers and the local authority.
