Hello Year 5,

We hope you had a lovely break over Easter and that you enjoyed a bit of a rest and a chance to get creative with your families. Please keep photos coming in if you have any, it is lovely to see you enjoying your time at home!
We will be returning to one piece of English, maths and topic work per day, along with the addition of a maths challenge for you to try every week. These challenges can be attempted whenever is convenient with you throughout the week, but will be under the star for Monday. Please keep up your reading and keep practicing those spellings and tables!

Over Easter we are sure you have seen the incredible efforts of Captain Tom Moore to raise money for the NHS. (https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/52277760 For those of you who may have missed this news!) At the end of the month it is Captain Tom's 100th birthday so your optional extra task for this week is to write a birthday card/letter/picture to him!
