The Big Battery Hunt 2022

We took part in the Big Battery Hunt 2022

We started collecting quite close to the closing date and only registered 321 batteries. However, by the end of term we had collected 1,467 batteries for recycling!

The school who collected the most was Lea Forest Primary Academy, collecting an amazing 59,225 batteries! We are not sure that we can collect that many, but we are sure that we will be able to collect over 2,000 batteries next year. 

 

As well as collecting batteries for recycling we had fun estimating the number of batteries we use in our school.

 

We all know how important it is to recycle old batteries.
