Children receive weekend homework on Friday (due in the following Friday), spelling homework on Tuesday (6C) or Wednesday (6R), due in the following Wednesday, and maths homework set on Monday (often on MyMaths) and due in on Wednesday.  An additional challenge maths homework, focusing on reasoning and problem solving skills, is set on Monday to be completed for the following Monday.  The children should keep practising throughout the week on Times Table Rockstars to improve their speed and accuracy.

Additionally, children should read every night and ask an adult to sign their homework diary to get a chance to enter the champion reader competition.
