A Midsummer Night's Dream essays

Remembrance Day

 

This morning, Year 6 held a commemorative ceremony in honour of the centennial of the Armistice. 

 

The children made poppies out of clay, inspired by the display from the Tower of London in 2014.  They also shared letters and poetry from their work over the last few weeks.

 

Thank you to all who attended.

Hug your teddy bears tight and don't turn off the lights -- the children of year 6 have been creating tense, atmospheric stories inspired by H.G. Wells' "The War of the Worlds".  Dare you listen?
