Ask about the book

He didn’t answer so she decided to change the subject.

“So… umm… what’s that book?” Grace asked pointedly.

The man rolled his eyes. “But you’ve already read that book,” the man’s eyes widened. “You know about it, don’t you?” he said, no tone in his voice.

All the colour flooded out of Grace’s face.

“It is dangerous,” he whispered. “Stay away!”
