Wednesday

"What a beautiful day," as the Key Stage 1 song goes -- and the year 6 children were singing this on the clifftops on their walk!

This was one of the rotation of activities that the children enjoyed today.   They all had an experience surfing and there were lots of moments of triumph as they discovered what for some will be a new passion for life.

Elsewhere, the children conducted a geography fieldwork investigation into the rock pools, classifying and identifying different species in rock pools - many of the children found all sorts of different examples.  After, there were opportunities for beach games and art - Kevin aspired to create the largest beach portrait.

Alongside a clifftop walk and sketching and a bit of pebble art before dinner, it has been another packed day.

(Special shout-out to Blake the superstar for helping to set all the tables for dinner.)

Final update for tonight: See updated videos and photos below.  There are even more videos and photos to upload but the internet is patchy so we'll try to get them up when possible.

Extra update: Group 1 photos.  (Videos to follow when possible).
