After a fantastic breakfast - cereal, toast, pain-au-chocolat, croissants, hash browns, sausages, beans, eggs, bacon and more - we headed out quickly to Tenby for the boat trip. We were fortunate to enjoy seeing a porpoise as well as seals, cormorants and gannets. We learned about the environment around Caldey Island and the kinds of animals that have adapted to live here as well as how humans have used some of the islands for quarrying. On the way back from the boat trip, the children had an opportunity to buy souvenirs and explore the Tenby seafront.

The sun came out later on so we returned to Broad Haven where the children were able to spend some time on the beach and go into the sea. Photos and videos to follow! The children have now had some time to shower and prepare for dinner.
