Poetry Performances - October 2017

The children of 6R have been focusing on poetry this week. They have been practising progressive forms of the past, present and future tenses (I was running, I am running, I will be running), using the subjunctive mood ("if I were" for conditional forms) and a range of poetic devices including metaphor and synecdoche. Here are some of the pieces they have produced this week.
  • Scratch Arithmetic Game 6R have been creating a range of programs using variables and custom blocks on Scratch. Practise your arithmetic skills with this great Scratch game designed by two girls in the class.
