Maths - Inverse operations (addition and subtraction)

Today's maths lesson is to  remember how we can use the inverse operation to help us solve other calculations. Remember to watch the video first as this will help you to understand what you need to do. Then complete the sheet, either by printing it out, if you are able, or writing the answers into your workbook. For a little extra help, you may find the PowerPoint below useful too.

For an extra challenge, you can also complete the GDS questions below.

English

Today we are going to think about what new ideas we might include in our report.

First, study the ‘Tools not Rules’ toolkit on page 13 to familiarise yourself with what we need to include in our own writing.

Task 1 – Activity 9, pg 13 – New Ideas – Decide which type of elf or sprite you will be writing about.

Task 2 – Activity 10, pg 14 – Passport – Now you have decided on your creature, you now need to complete a passport showing all the key information. Look at the example on pg 14 and then use pg 15 to guide you through writing your own passport for your creature.
