2S will be set the following weekly homework:

• Reading - The children will bring home a reading book every night to share with an adult. It is important to check your child's understanding by asking questions about the book they are reading. Please sign the reading diary, so your child can participate in the school reading challenge!
• Spellings - There will be a spelling test each Thursday. Please note that every fourth week your child will be re- tested on the previous three weeks spellings. When practising spellings, your child can add each word into a sentence and add suffixes (ed, er, est, full, less, ment, ness, ly) for an extra challenge.
• Homework - Homework is set every Tuesday and needs to be returned by the following Monday. We try to set a range of different homework activities including maths, English, science and topic. My Maths computer activities are also set regularly.
