She spent what seemed like ages deciphering the first page. In no time, she was done. The first page read:

‘Death to humans. You have not trapped me in here forever. Soon a Stupid, Measly human will release me from my prison.’ 

She was about to turn over to the next page when a voice from behind her said, “Whatever you do, Do Not turn over that page.”

“Why shouldn’t I and Who are you?”

“I am the caretaker.”

“I should have destroyed that book when I had the chance to,” he muttered.

They stared at each other for a moment. Suddenly, she pulled open the book to the page that she had been reading.

“What does this mean?”

“There is an ancient force trapped in this book that was trapped in it by the wizards who set up this library.”

“What is it that is trapped?”

“Can’t say.”

“Well then, I’ll just open it.”

She opened the book and she was swallowed by it and passed out.

When she woke up she was in a white room. In front of her was a humanoid figure surrounded by shadows.

“Finally, after all this time i can be free”

He tapped her fore-head and vanished…
