English Task

Today we are looking at nouns and adjectives.

 

Task 1: Sort the words in the table into two groups. A group for nouns and a group for adjectives.

Remember...

Nouns- are words that name people, places and things. e.g, table, London, Mrs Wright

Adjectives - are words that describe nouns (pencil, Wales, Mrs Skyner) and pronouns (he, she, we, they).

Task 2: Chose 5 adjectives from the list above and write these into sentences

 

Challenge!

Pick adjectives to add into the sentences to create 3A sentences.

Write these sentences out  in your neatest handwriting remembering your capital letters, tall letters, hanging letters.

Today we ae looking at selecting coins and notes to make amounts of money. We are looking at different ways of making the same amount and finding the most efficient way.

 

Practical task:

Make amounts of money at home with coins you have in the house. Can you make an amount in lots of different ways?
