NEW UNIT! Today we start looking at metric measurements

'Focus on Faces' - Day 4

What makes a face a face?  Today, we would like you to read the poem, 'Be Glad Your Nose is on Your Face' by Jack Prelutsky.  Once you have read this and looked at the PowerPoint, we would like you to write a poem where each verse begins by being glad for what's on your face and saying why.  If you have freckles, or a mole, or a dimple when you smile, celebrate that too.  Your face makes you You!

Alternatively, you may choose to look at the PowerPoint exploring idioms to do with faces and then use these ideas to create a poem.

Be as creative as you wish!
