Year 4 Kilve Residential 2019

Wow, what a day!

Today our different groups have had an amazing time practising our archery skills, navigated the Fantasy Trail, blindfolded! We have shown off and built on our fabulous team work skills solving problems and challenges. Some of us also built shelters in the forest, whilst others had their turn down on Kilve beach fossil hunting.

The staff here have been great and worked brilliantly with the children to encourage them to push themselves to achieve as much as they can.

We are really proud of all the children’s willingness to have a go and ability to push themselves to achieve their goals.

We are all looking forward to our roast dinner this evening followed by ‘Kilve Olympics’ on the front lawn.

Day 2 - More Adventures!

An A-MAZEing Night

We have arrived and settled in really well. Groups D, E and F spent the afternoon looking for fossils on the beach and observing the features of the coastline. We found headlands, bays and could see the different layers of the rock!

Group C built shelters in the forests and explored the Fantasy Trail.

Groups A and B had a great time abseiling and taking part in archery. All the children tried hard to challenge themselves with great success.

We are looking forward to a yummy tea and fun in the Maze - hopefully we won’t lose anyone!!
