Tuesday 13th July

Welcome to our gallery nother adventure-packed day at Charterhouse!

After a hearty breakfast, the Falcon class went on a Mendip meander.  The views were brilliant -- and we spotted a kestrel in the wild!  There was also a lot of mud and Ellie proved a dab hand at helping free boots from mud.

Later, the children engaged with a mix of activities from climbing to teambuilding activities - you can see a few of the videos below.

Ophelia was anxious before going down the cave but overcame her fears, loved it and was beaming - she even wanted to go in again!  Darcey was nervous at first but soon wanted to be one of the leaders.  Jan, Arnas and Toby were fantastically supportive to everyone including the staff.

Lastly, we completed a bottle rocket challenge.  Thomas's team went the furthest but the egg-astronaut did not survive; however, Zach and team's astronaut Geraldson not only went an incredible distance but lived to tell the tale!

The children are now settling down for the night - water sports tomorrow!
