AM Swallows

Children can be dropped off any time after 7:50am 

If your child arrives before 8:15 am then we will be delighted to give them breakfast. They can choose from a selection of cereals, have a slice of toast or some fresh fruit. 

There are plenty of resources available for your child to play with until it is time for school. All children are accompanied to their respective group bubbles at the start of the school day.

Our charges are as follows:

Bookings need to be made with payment and in advance using our School Money online payment system. To ensure a place is available for your child to attend Swallows wrap around care, bookings must be made by the Friday prior to the week required. We are unable to give refunds or credits for any changed/cancelled bookings where less than 7 days notice has been given.

We appreciate that emergencies do occur and we aim to keep 2 places available every day for such circumstances and we will accept last minute bookings if we have a vacancy and the ratio of staff to child cover is not compromised. Please notify the school as soon as possible if you have not pre-booked and require an emergency place. Full payment will be required at the time of booking.

Our Swallows sessions qualify as a childcare and therefore can be paid for with Childcare Vouchers if applicable (our Ofsted number is 123714). Childcare Vouchers allow employers to help their employees with the cost of childcare. Childcare Vouchers are exempt from National Insurance Contributions (NICs) and Income Tax for employees up to a certain value. All employers are able to run a childcare voucher scheme. The school can accept all types of childcare voucher as full or part payment towards your session fees. If applicable, you may like to speak to your employer to find out which childcare voucher company they are registered with. Most childcare voucher companies provide access through their websites to an online account for parents, and we recommend this as the easiest way to make your voucher payments to us.

PM Swallows

Children can be picked up any time before 5:30pm

Every afternoon the children are taken from their classroom  to their respective after school settings.

Once a register has been taken fruit is offered to all children.  You are welcome to send a snack with your child.

Children are given the space to complete homework and supportive school staff are available to help where possible. The children can then choose to participate in an activity, or they may choose to play independently or with friends with the range of free choice resources that are available to them at all times. Our resources include role play, books, construction toys, small world play and a variety of board games and puzzles.

Other After School Clubs

As well as our popular After School Club, when possible, there are lots of things to do after school at Parkfield Primary School. Whether your child is sporty, musical, arty or if they just enjoy trying out new things with friends then we hope there is something that will interest them.

Some of the activities are run by professional coaches and there is a charge for these clubs. Some clubs and activities are run by our teaching staff and when this is the case, we ask for a voluntary contribution. As with Swallows, these clubs and activities can be booked each half term and, where appropriate, paid for online via our School money payment system.We are unable to give refunds or credits for cancelled or bookings.

Amendments/changes/cancellations made to any bookings (Clubs/Trips/any School Activity etc.)  after the closing date, regardless of the reason, are unfortunately non-refundable.
