She snatched the book and bolted out of the building.

          She tripped several times, skidding across the wet, icy ground – it was midwinter – but the book was still crawling in her arms.  It felt as though it was trying to force her to go somewhere else.

          When she got to the bottom of a huge hill, she looked to the top and saw the Old Lington Haunted Castle.  As though on the book’s instructions, she followed the path. The path led to castle.  Through the castle, she found a library.  In the library, she found a pedestal.  The pedestal stood shaking and the book opened…

          … Only to suck her into a world of darkness!
