Patrick's poster competition

In the 2020 Spring term, just before the partial closure of the school, Patrick organised a great poster competition. Patrick wanted to encourage us all to think about what we could do to help the environment, and his competition was a great success!

Patrick and the Eco-Committee judged the posters and awarded prizes to the best entries. A very big thank you to Patrick, for not only organising the competition, but for donating the prizes too.

There were some great entries, but one was judged to be outstanding over all - Well done Finley!

You can see a photographs of Finley's poster below, and you will be able to see it close up on the Eco-Committee Board.

Finley's poster has some great messages for us all, and here are a few:

  • Build bee hotels
  • Eat healthy
  • Grow your own veg.
  • Fix, repair and reuse
  • Join in your community
  • Reduce waste
  • Use electric cars
  • Plant more trees
  • Recycle, reuse, reduce
  • Avoid single use plastics
  • Don't buy palm oil
  • Use energy efficient light bulbs
  • Make hedgehog holes in fences
  • Cycle to school
