Bonjour la classe!

For French we have started to learn about the most famous bike race in the world, Le Tour de France.  We have looked at the different vélos – bikes that riders need to ride on the flat, up hills and up mountains.  The same video clip and powerpoint show you the different maillots – cycling jerseys that riders wear and there is an activity to create your own maillot.  The video clip “2019 Stage 19 Le Tour de France” shows you action from last year’s race and you will see an explanation of the different maillots – cycling jerseys in“Guide to Le Tour de France” which is also in the Video Resource Centre on the school website and it will help you find out all about this exciting bike race. Need some more learning?  Try the wordsearch, read the French words and find them in the wordsearch. Have fun with your learning.
