Curriculum

All Music lessons are delivered by a specialist Music teacher.

All EYFS and KS1 children receive a 30 minute Music lesson every week.

All KS2 children receive a 60 minute Music lesson every week.

All EYFS, KS1 & KS2 children also participate in a 25 minute singing practice assembly every week.

*All Year 5 children receive whole class tuition on the cornet for 15 weeks of the year. This tuition is delivered by a visiting specialist brass teacher.

* Year 6 children are currently receiving Music Technology lessons delivered by one of the Music staff from Castle School as part of the Castle In The Community outreach programme.
