LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT providing one to one support for a child with Autism
This post is fixed term and will be offered on a half termly basis.
The hours offered will accommodate to the needs of the child who will attend school on a reduced timetable. The post is term time only, and we anticipate it will be 2 hours a day.
Salary: Grade 15 point 9
Start date: September 2018
Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder is essential.
As well as having recent or current experience working with ASD children, the successful candidate will be able to establish positive relationships with our children, parents and members of staff and will have:
A good standard of education
Previous experience of working with children in an educational setting
Lots of initiative and the ability to work in a team.
A wish to play a full part in the life of the school and uphold our strong values.

The post holder will be required to support the child with personal care, and training will be provided.
