This week we want you to look at different ways to spell the 'oo' sound and the alternative spellings for this.

The main spellings for this sound are 'ew', 'u-e', and ‘ue'.

However, there is also ‘ui’ (fruit, bruise) and ‘ou’ (coupon, group).
