Welcome to Year 1!

We have lots of new exciting topics to learn about during this half term.

We will continue to keep this page updated with your homework, spelling and any other useful information for you and your grown-ups.  If you need any paper copies please let us know.

Just to remind you of the Year 1 expectations:

Homework is given out on a Tuesday and is due in the following Monday.

Spellings are given out on a Monday and will be tested the following Monday.

Please remember to keep reading and practising your numbers by regularly logging into Numbots!

Weekly Spellings and Homework:

At Parkfield we are following the NCETM programme as the main structure to our maths curriculum.

If you wish to support your child’s learning at home, the National Oak materials, which are linked below, align with the NCETM programme and can be used to support the learning that is happening in class.  Your child’s teacher will be able to let you know which unit to look at. 

Each objective has a video lesson option which can be used, also an entry/exit quiz along with a task sheet which offers further practise.
