Homework expectations

Daily:

Ten-fifteen minutes of reading every night.

Your child will read in ERIC (Everyone Reading In Class) time too.

 

Weekly: 

Spellings:

20 words including 10 spelling pattern words and 10 common exception words (Y5/6).

15 words including 5 spelling pattern words and 10 common exception words (Y3/4).

 

Maths: Fluency practice and Problem Solving and Reasoning (30 minutes) CGP books.

English: Grammar or Punctuation activity (30 minutes) CGP books.  

 

Fortnightly: Learn a times table 

 

Half termly: Homework menu (8 tasks and complete a minimum of 2)  

 

Additional activities: Times Tables Rockstars
