Quick Task 1:
Go to https://www.phonicsplay.co.uk/
Log in to the subscription area.
Username: march20
Password: home
Go to Teachers, then select interactive resources and select Phase 5. Select the 'Dragons Den' Game. Please go to Phase 5 and play with the 'e_e' sound as in 'Go Pete, go Steve'.
If you would like to practice the 'e_e' sound more play 'Buried Treasure' and 'Picnic on Pluto'.

 

Quick Task 2:
You need to stay on phonics play 

Go back to Teachers, then select interactive resources and select Phase 5. Then please select 'Tricky Word Trucks' and please practice Phase 5a Tricky words.

 

Task 3:

Please continue working through the tasks for the two week project on 'Jane Pipperty'.

 

 

Maths:
 
Today we would like you to do Lesson 7 of our unit 'Multiplication and Division'.
 

  1. Go to https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-1/
  2. Select 'Summer Term - Week 1 - Lesson 3 'Make Equal Groups (Sharing)' and watch the 3 minute video.
  3. Then complete the worksheet below. You do not need to print this. You can just write your answers in your home learning book e.g. where it tells you to tick the answer you would just write the object that you would have ticked.
  4. Then have a go at the reasoning and problem solving question.

 
Challenge:
Fancy a challenge... on the challenge sheet below is two problems from the nrich website. Give these a go. To help you find some objects in the house (e.g. pasta/cereal) to represent the problem or draw it pictorially. These are challenging but give them a go.

I have included the answers for you to work through if you are stuck.

It’s time to do circuits!

See the ‘fitness challenge cards’ attached to give you ideas of different fitness stations you can include in your circuit. Spend 1 minute at each station doing the different challenges. How many times can you go round the circuit?
