We hope you all enjoyed making your lovely pizzas last week. Thank you to all of you who emailed us photos of your delicious creations! They looked amazing ;0)
Today, I would like you to think about how successful your pizza was. What went really well? What perhaps didn't go so well? At school, we forgot to add the olive oil which made our dough really sticky and difficult to knead - this would definitely be a step to improve!
Below is a page you can use to help you structure your evaluation. Complete a couple of sentences for each heading. Of curse, you can print the sheet if you wish and are able, otherwise complete the work in your home learning pack.
Please, if you are able, add a photo of your finished/cooked pizza to your evaluation page.
Write a set of instructions to guide someone else to make the very same pizza - remember to add any changes you think might be useful from your evaluation. You can use the recipe to help you.
Remember that instructions use imperative verbs (bossy verbs) to tell the reader what to do - WEIGH the flour, MIX the dough. Watch the short BBC video to remind you of the features of instructional writing.
Please share your evaluations and instructions with us so your friends can copy your pizza ideas!
