KS2 Summer Concert : Tuesday 19.07.2022 (18:00 -19:00) Queen's College

As we will be starting our new topics on electricity (science) and Venice (Geography and art) this week, your first task is to think about what you already know about these topics, perhaps you could create your own 'What do I know?' knowledge webs?

Also, write down 3 or 4 questions that you would like to find out about during each of these topics.

As some children in Woodpeckers have already completed the electricity knowledge webs, in addition, you could carry out some research about these topics and present it in a way of your choice - perhaps a poster, fact-file, quiz or report - be creative! You could base this research on renewable and non-renewable electricity sources.

Also, look at the half term topic homework activities (linked in the Spring 1 icon). It would be the perfect opportunity to get some of these tasks completed too!

Our topic this half term is all about Christianity. Our first lesson is looking at what it means to be a Christian.

The link below will take you to the RE Quest website where you can read about Christianity and listen to some different people give their views and ideas about their religion and what it means to them.

Can you draw three symbols that you think might be important to Christians? Write a few sentences to explain what objects/symbols you have chosen and what they represent.
