Timetable and weekly Tasks

Timetable

Reading:

Please ensure you are reading at least 10 minutes a day!
This can be your school book, any fiction and non-fiction books you have at home, leaflets, instructions, recipes, comics and magazines.
Alternatively you can try some online resources (Big Cat - see useful web-based resource section on the main Year 1 Home Learning page.)

Spellings:

See the 'Spellings' word document below. Learn the spellings for your group (red/blue/green).

Also, learn two common exception words that you still find tricky.

Numbots challenge:

This week can you pass 15 more levels?
Have you managed to upgrade your robot yet?

*** There is a free Doctor robot at the moment so log in, have a play and upgrade***

If you would like further number bond practice go to the Top Marks website (the link is in the useful web-based resources section of the main Year 1 Home Learning page). Find Hit the Button game, select number bonds and then up to 20. Have a go at all the games in the 'up to 20' section. Have fun!

Fun Task:

This week we would like you to do some cooking.
With the help of an adult we would like you to plan, prepare and cook dinner for your family.
We cannot wait to see some photos of you enjoying your dish!

Music (Optional):

Please see the below music sheet from Mrs Brickley.

Have fun with this!

Art Project (Optional)

Please see below a project for art that is taking place across some local primary schools.

Read through part one and part two and have a go.
