Maths
Sometimes, it isn't always possible to divide a number into groups of an equal size. When this happens we get a remainder. Watch the White Rose video to learn more about what happens when we can't divide into equal groups and how to find the remainder. Pause the video as you go an answer the questions on paper or in your blended learning booklets. There is no worksheet today.
English
Using your 'Sentence of 3 Game' knowledge, complete the second part of the 'Add-on Adverbs Game' on page 11.
Write a short paragraph explaining what your trolls like to eat and why.
Remember to make your sentences interesting by starting them in different ways.
You can use I SAW A WABUB (subordinating) conjunctions, and prepositions at the start of your sentences. Remember your commas!
Geography
Yesterday, we looked at using co ordinates to locate landmarks on a map of Taunton.
Today, we are mapping the route to and from different landmarks in Taunton, then writing the directions using our knowledge of compass points.
Go through the Geography 4 PowerPoint to learn more about planning a route and give you more detail of your task.
You have map of Taunton below to help you. Alternatively, you could map the route using Google maps or an Ordnance Survey map.
Don't draw the map to mark the directions as this will be tomorrow's task.
