English
‘Write your unicorn information page’ page 23. Now it is time to write about your unicorn! We are going to spend two days on this so you don’t need to rush through and don’t forget to edit your writing for spellings, punctuation and vocabulary choice once you have finished. There is an example text on page 26 for you to look at before you begin.
Complete section 1 – Introduction. Use your boxed-up planner to help you. Look back at the model text to help you too. In this section I want you to introduce the unicorn to the reader by saying a little bit about it.
Section 2 – Appearance. Use your boxed-up planner to help you. Look back at the model text to help you too. In this section I want you to describe the parts of the unicorn’s body in detail. Try to use a simile to describe the unicorn’s size.
Section 3 – Habitat. Use your boxed-up planner to help you. Look back at the model text to help you too. In this section I want you to tell the reader where the unicorn lives, describe where the unicorn sleeps, add a bit of detail about how the habitat gives the unicorn power.
