This week we're going to look at dividing 2-digit numbers by 1-digit numbers. Watch the White Rose video below to learn how to divide 2-digit numbers and then complete the questions either on the worksheet or in your blended learning booklets. Remember: division is the inverse of multiplication!
Over the next two weeks, we will be using a Talk For Writing booklet called 'The Truth about Trolls'. We will set a different task each day for you to do. You can either print off the booklet or complete the work using your blended learning booklets.
Please read the 'Introduction' on page 3 and 'The Truth about Trolls' report on pages 4 and 5.
You can use the Glossary on page 6 to help you with some trickier vocabulary. If you wish, you can find more information using the links.
Complete the 'What do words mean?' task on page 7. You can do this on the sheet or in your blended learning booklets. If you find any other words that you are unsure of, you can add these to your table.
Challenge: find synonyms for these words.
Now you know the meanings, write these words in sentences.
Make sure to start your sentences with I SAW A WABAUB (subordinating) conjunctions, and extend your ideas with FANBOYS (coordinating conjunctions). Just like we do in class.
Over the next two weeks, we will be looking at the geography of our local area and how the land is used in and around Taunton.
Today, we will be learning about the countries and cities of the UK.
First, go through the Geography 1 PowerPoint which explains your task in more detail.
You can either print the sheet or number the cities and complete the task using your blended learning booklets.
An atlas map of the UK is below to help you.
