I can interpret line graphs

Today’s maths learning is continuing the topic on statistics.  Our objective for this session is to continue to understand line graphs.

Please remember to watch the video before completing the whiterose sheet as this will help you understand the different representations and question types. If you find it straight forward, then make sure that you challenge yourself with the problem solving questions too!

If you are able, we would hope you will be completing 45 minutes to 1 hour of maths per day so if the Whiterose video and sheet takes this amount of time, then you do not need to complete the PSR, unless you wish to of course! The expectation is that those of you working within GDS will complete your usual GDS sheet.

True or False - ANSWER!

False

The scale on the graphs is different so the sunflowers are different heights at the end of the year.

Sunflower 1 is 20 cm tall.

Sunflower 2 is 80 cm tall.

The difference in heights is 60 cm.
