Wow, I can't believe it's half term already. What a lot of super work you have done.
Here are some activities you might like to use to keep yourself busy over the week - these are optional but please remember to keep reading and practising your times tables!!
Put a play on!
You might soon run out of indoor activities when you are looking for things to do on during half term. Why not put on your own theatre show for your parents or siblings. Dig out any dressing up stuff you might have around, or even find some of your own old clothes and choose their own outfits.
If you have any brothers and sisters you could work together to write a script, rehearse and make tickets for the audience. Have fun!
A housebound treasure hunt
Create a map of your home and hide small items around it. Mark each piece of hidden treasure on the map. Explain the map to someone in your house and offer your support for the hunting game in case they need it.
You could make some word cards describing a place where you have hidden an item. For example: “I am cold and make a ‘bing bing’ noise if left open”. The answer is the fridge, of course.
Here are some examples to get you started.
