Yesterday, we looked at how to draw pictograms.
Today, we 're going to learn how to correctly interpret them. Watch the White Rose video on interpreting pictograms and then complete the two worksheets below.
Today, we are going to complete 'The Adjective Game' on page 13.
Using the list of nouns and adjectives that you created yesterday, fill in the gaps in the sentences.
Then, write your own description of the rocks in the images using 2A (adjective) sentences. Remember to use your most exciting adjectives and commas.
Imagine you are there!
What can you see? Smell? Hear?
Challenge: using I SAW A WABUB (subordinating) conjunctions or prepositions at the start of your sentences.
Following on from yesterday's lesson, we're going to look at how and why the Israelite's ended up in Egypt. To answer these questions, we will continue to read about Joseph's life and his meeting with Pharaoh.
Click on the RE 5 PowerPoint to find out more about the story.
You can cut out the events of Joseph's life and order them or you can draw a timeline of events on plain paper.
