BBCiplayerNumberblocks Series 4 Episode 6 Square Club!
Things get totally out of hand at a Square Club meeting - until a certain someone arrives to save the day.
Objective: Learn all about square numbers with the Numberblocks.

Activity: Printing Square Numbers
1) You will need a potato, sharp knife, paints and paper.
2) Take one of the potatoes and, using the sharp knife, chop the potato in half (get a grown-up to help with this).
3) Get a grown-up to cut out a square shape from the potato ready for printing. (A square sponge will also work)
4) Create Numberblock 4, 9 and 16, as shown in the video above, by printing 4 squares for 4, 9 squares for 9 and 16 squares for 16 in a square shape.
Challenge - Can you create any other Numberblocks that are part of the Square Club? Remember the rule - They have to have the same number of cubes going up as they do across.

100g soft butter

1 large tablespoon honey
1 egg yolk
1 level teaspoon cinnamon
180g self-raising flour
